Zen and the Art of Pee-Wee Football
Pee Wee footbal was just something you did in Streamwood Illinois as a young boy, so to follow along with the others I joined the local league and was assigned to the , "The Can-Do-Colts.” We called ourselves this because as our huddle broke we’d clap and chant, “Colts, can do.” I was given the position of left guard which is a blocker. It’s the position one gets when they can’t run, catch or throw well. It’s a no glory spot. A cog in the wheel of the kiddie football machine.
